I am starting this list with my absolute favourite beach resort in Lagos – Jara! If you are an avid reader of my blog, you might have read about my visit to this resort in the past.

Jara is an all-inclusive beach resort in Lagos, and at the time I visited, it was the first of its kind and the only place I considered to be an actual resort in the state. Everything, from the service to the meals and facilities was impeccable, and I truly enjoyed my visit here. It gets a 5-star rating from me!

As you stroll along the Ilashe strip, you’ll come across a few beach houses and resorts. Among them is the Lighthouse Beach House, which welcomes both day and overnight visitors and provides an all-inclusive booking alternative.

Next on this list is La Campagne Tropicana. Like Jara, you might have also come across this resort on my blog. I have visited twice and while I found the beach here to be quite pleasant, I found the overall services offered to be lacklustre and their policies regarding photography and dining to be archaic.

This beach resort in Lagos gets a 3-star rating from me. While day trips here could be fun, I recommend looking into other beach resorts in Lagos for overnight staycations, especially considering that the accommodation prices here are similar to those with spectacular services and meals.

Day trips to La Campagne Tropicana start at ₦1,800 for children and ₦5,400 per adult if reserved online. These prices are higher for walk-in guests. There are additional fees to be paid if you bring in your food and drinks, as well as, some activities available on the premises.

Mera Mera Lagos

Mera Mera is a beach house with 4 bedrooms conveniently located in Victoria Island, which could be either a positive or negative aspect depending on your personal preference. I haven’t been to this beach house yet but considering its location in a reasonably popular beach area, I imagine that noise pollution around the property might be inevitable.

Still, the property looks stunning and seems like an excellent place for friends to unwind after a fun day spent on the beach.
